Is prior work experience mandatory to apply?
Work experience is required for some tracks but not all. What is ARTiBA’s process for reviewing a candidate’s application?
When you submit your application, you agree to ARTiBA’s audit and verification policies. While not all applications are audited, a random selection is made. If your application is selected, you’ll receive an official email notification outlining the documents required and next steps. You’ll need to complete the Candidacy Audit Response Form and upload the requested materials by the specified deadline.
What if my application is disapproved on eligibility grounds?
If your application is declined based on eligibility, you may submit a Candidacy Consideration Request Form to request reconsideration. This must be accompanied by a letter explaining the reason for your appeal along with any supporting documents. All materials must be submitted together within 5 business days of receiving the disapproval notification using the form provided.
What is the duration, format, and pattern of the exam?
ARTiBA certification exams consist of multiple-choice, single-answer questions. The number of questions and exam duration may vary by certification program. You are not required to answer the questions in sequence—candidates can review, return to, or revise answers before final submission. Be sure to review all responses carefully before ending the exam.
How long do I have to complete the certification process?
You have 180 days from the date of your registration confirmation to prepare for, schedule, and take your certification exam. Your result is displayed immediately after you submit the exam, and a detailed result report will be available in your myARTiBA dashboard within 10–12 business days. Once you pass the exam, a verifiable digital badge is issued immediately via CredBadge™. You will also receive your credential kit, which includes your printed certificate, credential lapel pin, and the Code of Ethics booklet, shipped to your registered address within 3–4 weeks.

What ID documents are required for exam registration and proctoring?
All ARTiBA certification exams are conducted online and are digitally proctored through ExamStrong™, allowing candidates the flexibility to take the exam from a secure, private location using a personal laptop or computer that meets the system requirements. Candidates must provide details of two valid, non-expired, government-issued identification documents. On the day of the exam, they must present the original IDs to the remote proctor on-screen.

What happens if I miss my exam appointment?
Examinees missing a scheduled exam because of emergencies should directly contact ARTiBA to report the matter.

How will I receive the learning resources?
Once you have successfully registered, you will receive structured access to AiSkool™, the digital learning ecosystem. These resources include module-based study guides and reading materials, practice questions, and coding exercise environments. Practice tests are available in your myARTiBA dashboard, and a full-length mock exam is unlocked 24 hours before your scheduled exam.
Learning access is available throughout the 180-day exam window granted to all candidates. Where needed, this period can be extended for an additional 180 days, allowing continued access to learning resources and an active exam attempt.
Do I need to pay extra for learning resources?
No. All learning resources required for the program are included in the program fee. No additional payment is required for accessing these materials.
Can I buy the learning resources even if I am not an applicant?
No. The learning resources are not available for purchase and are exclusively accessible to registered candidates of ARTiBA certification programs.
Can I extend my access to the learning resources?
Yes. Access to learning resources is extended automatically whenever your exam window is extended. This includes cases such as rescheduling, reattempting the exam, or reactivating an expired exam window. All extensions are subject to an administrative fee, and details are provided in the ARTiBA Exam Policies.
What happens to my learning resources access if I fail to schedule the exam within 180 days?
If you do not schedule your exam within the 180-day period, your exam window expires. You can reactivate it by paying a USD 50 reactivation fee through your myARTiBA dashboard. This reactivation also extends your learning resources access by the allotted exam window and includes a new exam attempt.
What is the minimum passing score for the exam?
You need to score at least 65% to pass the ARTiBA certification exam.
How can I access my official exam results and credential information?
Official results and credential details are not shared over phone, SMS, or email. All candidates must access their outcomes and certification information exclusively through their myARTiBA dashboard.
When will I receive my official exam results and credential?
You’ll see a preliminary pass/fail result immediately after submitting the exam. Your official score will be available on your myARTiBA dashboard within 10–12 business days.
Within 3–4 business days of passing, you will receive an email containing your Unique Credential Code along with access to your official digital badge, and your physical ARTiBA credential kit will arrive within 3–4 weeks of result confirmation.
What if I am not able to pass my certification exam on the first attempt?
If you do not pass on your first attempt, you can retake the exam by paying a nominal fee of USD 50 through your myARTiBA dashboard. This provides a new exam attempt and extends your AiSkool™ access by an additional 180 days. You may apply to reappear as soon as your exam result is published.
When will my credential expire?
The AiE® and CAiBP® credentials are valid for three years. After this period, renewal is required. Upon renewal, AiE® certified professionals are elevated to the Senior AiE®, which also opens eligibility for higher-level programs such as CAiEP® and CAiBP®, depending on their career path and specialization.
How do I maintain my ARTiBA certification?
Renewal is mandatory to keep your certification active and current. You are required to renew your Credential before the Standard credential renewal deadline. When you renew, you show your continuing competence and commitment to the profession. ARTiBA will send you reminder emails for renewal of your credential, wherein you will have to click the links mentioned in these communications, or log into your myARTiBA account and register for renewal. In order to receive email reminders from ARTiBA, please make sure to keep your email address current. Please note that training is not mandatory for renewal and you only have to register and complete a short–duration online refresher learning program as per the latest Artificial Intelligence Body of Knowledge (AIBoK™).
How much does it cost to renew or reinstate my certification?
The renewal or reinstatement fee depends on the current status of your certification. ARTiBA provides a standard renewal window, a grace period, and a reinstatement pathway for credentials that have lapsed. The applicable fee is based on where your certification stands at the time you initiate the process.

When can I submit my renewal application?
ARTiBA will send you reminder emails for renewal of your credential, wherein you will have to click the links mentioned in these communications, or log into your ARTiBA account and register for renewal. My certification validity has expired but I need to renew. What should I do?
ARTiBA certifications include a convenience (grace) period for renewal, along with provisions for reactivation or revival if the validity has already lapsed. Please contact the ARTiBA Care Team for assistance.
How do I share my digital badge?
Using CredBadge's sharing options, you can directly share your digital badge on professional networking sites, personal websites, e-mails, and popular social media platforms. Each digital badge has a unique URL that can be embedded.

Do I have to pay extra for my digital badge?
There will be no additional cost incurred by you for displaying your digital badge; Storing, managing, and broadcasting your credential is free. We provide you with best-in-class platform to display your hard earned credential.
Can I get a printed (hard-copy) certificate in addition to the digital one?
Yes, you will receive both – a digital badge and a printed certificate. The official Credential kit will be shipped to your registered shipping address within 3-4 weeks of you successfully passing the exam.
What is the procedure for obtaining a duplicate certificate?
To get a duplicate certificate in the event of losing your original certificate, you must generate a service request from your myARTiBA dashboard. An additional fee of USD 100 will have to be incurred by you.
How can I inform my employer of the successful completion of my exam?
You can notify your employer about your credential award by logging in to your myARTiBA dashboard and click on Notify My Employer button to add the email address of the individual you want to notify. ARTiBA will send an email to that person about your credential award.
What are the available modes of fee payments?
Payments can be made via debit or credit cards. We accept a range of cards including Visa, American Express, MasterCard among others. Payment for company-sponsored applicants can be done via electronic checks or wire transfers, and for further information you may contact us here.
Can I pay the fee in installments?
No. Payments must be made in a single installment.
Do I have to pay fee again if I cancel an exam I scheduled?
If you cancel your exam and wish to reappear, you’ll need to pay a nominal fee of USD 50 through your myARTiBA dashboard.
What is the refund policy in case I wish to withdraw from the certification?
For withdrawal requests made within 24 hours from payment, the total fee paid will be refunded after deducting the processing charges of USD 80. However, no refund will be processed for withdrawal requests after 24 hours.
How do I track my ARTiBA Credential Kit?
You will receive shipment and tracking notifications from our logistics team as soon as your ARTiBA Credential Kit is dispatched after you earn your certification.
What happens if I am not available to receive the shipment?
If you are not available to accept the shipment delivery, the shipper may deliver the Credential Kit to your provided address after verification.
What should I do if I haven't received my shipment despite receiving the shipment delivered e-mail notification?

Can I reschedule the date of delivery of my ARTiBA Credential Kit?
Once your ARTiBA Credential Kit has reached its destination, you may request a change in the delivery date by contacting the shipping service provider. Please note that extended delays may not be possible. In some cases, storage charges may apply, and if delivery is postponed for too long, the shipment may be returned to us.
What if my Credential Kit is delivered to the wrong address?
In case your Credential Kit has been delivered to an incorrect address, please lodge a complaint with the carrier provider using the tracking details provided by ARTiBA Logistics.
Can I change my shipping/mailing address once I have paid the certification fee?
Yes, you can change your shipping/mailing address any time after paying the certification fee and before your Credential Kit is shipped. Once it has been dispatched, address changes will no longer be possible. So please ensure that you provide the correct address to avoid any delivery issues with your ARTiBA Credential Kit.
Do I have to pay any additional duties and taxes?
You may have to pay the customs duties and other levies – if any – in your country. As a recipient, you are responsible for the clearance of the ARTiBA Credential Kit consignment
