Exam Conduct Policy

ARTiBA maintains a zero-tolerance policy for exam misconduct to uphold the rigor, integrity, and fairness of its certification process. Candidates are required to follow all examination rules from the moment of check-in until the exam concludes.

Exams are proctored live through a secure online system. Examinees must appear from a well-lit, distraction-free space and complete a mandatory 360-degree room scan before the exam starts. This scan may be repeated during the exam at the proctor's discretion. Only one original and valid ID must be presented and photographed during check-in.

Once the exam begins:

  • No breaks are permitted. Examinees must remain visible on camera at all times and are not allowed to leave the screen.
  • No location changes are allowed once the exam has started.
  • No external assistance (people, materials, or devices) is permitted.
  • Only one monitor/screen may be used.
  • Pop-ups or switching tabs will automatically terminate the exam.
  • The exam must be taken on a plugged-in device to avoid disruption due to power loss.
  • Any notifications or background apps must be disabled in advance.

Prohibited behaviors include but are not limited to:

  • Having another person present in the exam room.
  • Possessing notes, books, or any material on the desk or walls.
  • Communicating with others about the exam during the session.
  • Using digital devices, accessories, or external programs.
  • Wearing headphones, earbuds, or earpieces.
  • Accessing other websites, platforms, or software applications during the exam.
  • Attempting to record or reproduce any part of the exam.

Proctors have full authority to monitor and enforce these rules. Any violation, including suspicious activity, may result in immediate dismissal from the exam. All proctor decisions are final and binding.

We strongly advise all examinees to thoroughly review and comply with the exam conduct policies to avoid disruptions or disqualification.
