Examinee Identification Policy

All ARTiBA candidates are required to provide valid, government-issued identification both while scheduling their exam and on the day of the exam. During scheduling, candidates must submit the details of two valid and unexpired identification documents, which must remain valid through their scheduled exam date.

On the day of the exam, candidates must present their original ID on screen during the check-in process. The remote proctor will verify the documents before allowing the candidate to proceed. If the name on the ID does not match the name used during registration, or if the ID is invalid or a photocopy, entry to the exam will be denied.

To ensure a smooth identity verification process:

  • Make sure your exam room is well-lit with daylight-quality lighting.
  • Use a functional, high-resolution webcam to display your ID clearly.

ID Requirements

  • The full name on your ID must exactly match the name provided at the time of registration.
  • Only original documents will be accepted—photocopies or digital copies are not permitted.
  • The IDs must be valid and unexpired as on the date of the examination.

Accepted Forms of ID

  • Government-issued driver’s license
  • Passport
  • Military ID
  • State or country ID card
  • Employee or school ID

Failure to meet these requirements may result in the cancellation of your exam session. Additional fees may apply to reschedule.
