The ARTiBA certification exams consists of 60 multiple-choice questions, each with a single correct answer. Examinees can navigate freely between questions — skipping, reviewing, or revising their responses before final submission.

Exams can be taken in a comfortable, distraction-free environment — such as a home or office — after successfully completing system and environment verification through ExamStrong.

The platform incorporates rigorous international standards in testing integrity, identity verification, and data security. Its design and operations are aligned with globally recognized certification and credentialing protocols.

Exam Scheduling, Rescheduling & Cancellation

Scheduling Your Exam

Candidates have up to 180 days from the date of payment to schedule and take their certification exam. Once ready, candidates can select their preferred exam date and time through their myARTiBA dashboard.

Exams are available year-round and can be scheduled based on the candidate’s time zone and readiness.

Rescheduling Your Exam

  • No-cost Rescheduling: Candidates may reschedule their exam at no additional cost if the request is submitted at least 72 hours in advance of the originally scheduled exam time.
  • Late Rescheduling Fee: Requests made within 72 hours of the scheduled exam will incur a USD 50 rescheduling fee.

All rescheduling must be done through the myARTiBA dashboard.

Cancelling Your Exam

If you cancel your scheduled exam at any time, you will need to pay USD 50 to extend your 180-day eligibility period, allowing you to reschedule your exam at a later date within the extended window.

Cancellations made within 72 hours of the scheduled time are not eligible for extension and will result in your eligibility window expiring—unless special permission is granted.

Exam Development

ARTiBA certification exams are designed to rigorously evaluate the knowledge and competencies required of contemporary AI professionals. The development process is structured to meet the highest standards of professional certification and to ensure every candidate is assessed fairly, consistently, and in alignment with real-world expectations.

To uphold global quality and integrity, ARTiBA draws upon the expertise of test development professionals, exam technologists, credentialing security specialists, and practicing AI professionals. The exam content is developed through a multi-layered process that includes global practitioner surveys, structured interviews with industry leaders, role-specific task analyses, and collaborative input from academic experts and subject matter authorities.

This methodology ensures that all ARTiBA certification exams are psychometrically valid, job-role aligned, and continuously updated to reflect evolving trends in AI practice. Each exam is mapped to the AMDEX™ framework and evaluated to maintain relevance, reliability, and measurable performance outcomes for every candidate.


Exam Testing and Scoring

To successfully pass an ARTiBA certification exam, candidates must achieve a minimum score of 65%. Final outcomes are determined using advanced statistical methods that factor in question difficulty levels and scoring reliability to ensure a fair and consistent evaluation.

Candidates will see a preliminary result (pass or fail) immediately upon submitting the exam. The official score is published on the candidate’s myARTiBA dashboard within 10–12 business days of exam completion.

Within 3–4 business days of passing, candidates will receive an email containing their Unique Credential Code and access to their official digital CredBadge for professional sharing. The physical ARTiBA credential kit is shipped globally and typically arrives within 3–4 weeks of result confirmation.

Please note that official results and credentialing details are not shared over phone, SMS, or email. All candidates must access their outcomes and certification information exclusively through their myARTiBA dashboard.
