Online Proctoring Guidelines

All ARTiBA certification exams are administered online through secure remote proctoring via the ExamStrong platform. Candidates may take the exam from a private space—such as their home or office—after completing a mandatory environment and system check.

To ensure a seamless exam experience, candidates must review and meet the minimum technical and environmental requirements below before scheduling or launching their exam.

Minimum System Requirements

Requirement Details
Display Resolution Minimum 1024 × 768 (Recommended)
Internet Connection Minimum speed: 1 Mbps
Recommended: Wired connection (LAN)
Browser Latest version of Google Chrome only
Webcam Built-in or external webcam required (must be active during the exam)
Firewalls & VPN Corporate firewalls or VPNs can block exam services. Use a private, unrestricted connection.
Admin Access If testing from a corporate system, ensure you have admin rights to allow installation of exam tools.

Important Note: Candidates are responsible for ensuring that their system and testing environment meet all requirements before the exam session begins. Exam disruptions caused by non-compliance may result in rescheduling delays or forfeiture.

Accepted forms of ID:

  • Government-issued driver's license
  • Passport
  • Military ID

  • Employee or school ID

Important note: Photocopies, expired documents, and digital IDs are not accepted.

Launching the Exam & Check-In Process

The ARTiBA exam check-in and launch process typically takes around 10-20 minutes. Please allow extra time in case of technical verification delays.

Steps to Begin Your Exam

  • Log in to your myARTiBA dashboard and click the “Appear for Exam” button.
  • Enter your ID number — this should match one of the two IDs used during registration.
  • If you have not already done so, we recommend taking the mock exam at least 24 hours prior to verify your system and internet setup.
  • Complete the live ID verification process as guided by the proctoring system.
  • Carefully read and accept the exam terms and conditions.
  • Once verified, your exam session will begin.

Important Reminders

  • Close all applications, windows, and browser tabs before launching. Notification pop-ups or background processes may cause your exam to auto-terminate.
  • Be punctual. Logging in more than 30 minutes after your scheduled start time will result in your session expiring and may require rescheduling.
  • Your webcam must remain active throughout the exam, and you must remain visible on screen at all times.
  • Ensure a stable high-speed internet connection to avoid disruptions during the exam session.
